A really good one, but save your money and try a rabbit ears one first, it may be just fine. If you find that not good enough, try a so called digital one, but no single position is going to prove best unless your really lucky. I have had luck with other TV's using just a 8 inch piece of wire. The TV that this unit was going to replace has a really bad tuner that even my best antenna could not pull in channel 68, where as my years old LG can do with a funky bent rabbit ear antenna. Confused? Me to try it, your results may vary
