• I had a smart TV at one time. To get it going I had to connect it to the web and Have an email account. Hope that helps. I'm looking for a new TV myself but maybe not this smart.

• I do have antenna too but i dont see any problems with it if ur trying to get this TV

• This TV would definitely be overqualified for your usage, but I have it connected to a physical antenna on a tower outside my house (no cable or satellite connection) and it runs perfectly.
