Can you use tap water null

Like most machines tap water is usable and depending on if your water is hard or soft, you may need to clean your machine more often. I prefer to use purified water in mine. Enjoy!!

It will shorten the life of your machine. Use distilled water. My first opal lasted only one year when I used tap. It was replaced since it stopped working at the one year mark. Used only distilled on the second one I had, it lasted 4 years. The pump went out. Shopping for a new one. Considered changing brands, but bought a Trotronics from Amazon and it lasted 6 months even using distilled but didnt know the brand and got what I paid for.

Yes you can but more often you’ll have to descale it. A good cleaning with vinegar will do!
