A:Answer Not sure if we are discussing the exact same model, but that was a huge gripe of mine. I have a rather small window as well, so I expected I would and did need to cut it, which was not difficult. I scored it well with a blade and then when almost through snapped it. The issue is that I did not see how it would work even in regular or fairly large size windows. I put the pieces, even as single pieces against the larger windows and the pieces were wider than the windows. You would think the entire point of the sliding pieces was to be small and expand.
