The HP Bestec ATX-250-12z is a standard ATX power supply, as is the Insignia; it should work in place of the Bestec.

Please try again later.After asking my original question, I Live Chatted with a Best Buy Customer Service Representative and they verified this Insignia product is compatible with the HP Bestec ATX-250-12Z. Subsequently I purchased and installed the product. Works great. Took a few minutes to figure out which plugs I needed and which ones are for a different application. For others embarking on using this product, I would recommend taking a few pics of your existing connections. Easy to get lost in the jumble of wires.
