• I just looked in the product manual on the Insignia website and it states the USB port can be used for .jpeg photos and firmware upgrades only. TV's that are not Smart TVs typically do not include the necessary licensing to view proprietary video formats from a USB flashdrive/hard drive. I would recommend using a Blu-ray player, tablet, phone or PC connected via HDMI to view your digital movies.
