• It is not a Smart TV, it's a basic no-frills HDTV. To stream shows you would need a Streaming Media Device. Look into getting something like a Fire TV Stick or a Roku stick. They are some of the cheaper on the market (under $50) and work well. You plug it into a power outlet and the TV's HDMI port and set it up and you're off and running.

• this is not a smart TV nor 4k. If you want to use it as "a smart" TV you need to use a device that can do that: box, laptop, etc. Connect via HDMI and can do YouTube Netflix HULU, etc. Good Luck
