“If I lay it down when bringing it home will it ruin ? Is there a compressor with oil in it that would not allow it to be laid flat”

• I had mine on it's side bringing it home. After reading the directions, they say before plugging it in let it stand upright for a couple of hours and then plug it in. Not sure why but I did as instructed and have had no problems.

• Can be laid flat to transport, instructions do recommend a period of it sitting upright before powering it on for everything to "settle" per se

• I laid it down to take it home. You just have to let it rest unplugged for the same duration of time that it is on its side
