• i believe house voltage actually ranges 110 t0 120 volts. thats why they say 115

• I brought the freezer home and plugged it in - I am renting right now so I don't know the actual electric amps - but the place is not a new build - I have not had any issues with it at all - it works perfectly - and it is the perfect size - Hope this helps - YTC
