• A:Answer After having the same issue, my solution was to change my soundbar input from auxillary to HDMI (eARC) and then change the audio type within my tvs settings from auto to stereo (Roku tv). Im sure most tvs have similar settings so it might be worth giving these a shot.

• A:Answer Please ignore senniebum1 answer, that is not how audio wattage works. Unfortunately insignia does not list a public wattage range/peak anywhere on the soundbar for the price and how the audio sounds is it's probably around 200 watts. It's not going to shake the house but it's an excellent choice for a budget friendly home theater sound system that still puts out quality audio. (The soundbar, rear speakers and subwoofer all require a wall outlet, power cables are included) I do use HDMI eARC (or ARC) it allows the TV to control the soundbar, turn the tv on soundbar turns on turn TV off soundbar turns off etc. but optical is also a pretty solid option as well with a 5 channel system and the soundbar usually puts itself into sleep mode so as soon as the red light flickers it turns on, and when the light eventually stops it will go back into sleep mode.

• A:Answer The last answer is incorrect. The system is very powerful and all speakers are self powered with their own power amps in each box. The power handling may be in the user guide. It gets loud in a small room.

• A:Answer Hello, the wattage is supplied from your TV, as the Insignia does not have a built-in power pack. So, whatever wattage your TV is supplying to your TV Speakers, that is the wattage you will receive to the new Insignia system. Hope this helps.
