I just measured the total height of mine. It is 50 inches to the top of the tap handles. I have the wheels installed and is included in the 50 inch height. This unit is not made to be installed in any kind of a cabinet. It is made to be freestanding. All of the required ventilation is in the lower backside. Anything that impedes airflow around it will reduce cooling performance and very potentially damage the cooling system. I installed a double regulator so I could have different pressures for different beers. Porters and Stouts use a lower pressure than lager beers such as Bud. I also installed a tower cooling kit. Got both of these items from a very large online company. Big "A". I also installed a tower (exterior) insulation kit. It is an insulating sock that slides over the tower. This in combination with the tower cooling kit keeps the beer cold in the tower. There is no need to draw off a half glass of beer to get cold beer. I also installed covers for the spigots. The covers prevent the valve area from drying out and becoming stiff when not used for a while. If you temporarily use this unit outside for an event, it will keep bees and other insects out of the spigots.
