• No. However, it is very straightforward to remove the second tap from the gas line if you plan to generally run with just a single keg. You can also leave an empty keg hooked up.

• I just removed the T splitter it came with and picked up one that have independent shut off valves at a local brew place . They are also sold online. See attached picture.

• Yes has long as you have the second keg tap handle (The one used to hook to the keg) that's not being used in the closed position.

• Yes: you don’t have to use both taps at the same time. If you want to do one you can, but why buy two taps if you only want to use one?
