• I actually purchased this model because the descriptions state that it can indeed be used in lower temperatures (to -10). I live in northern Illinois and we have very cold winters, also. I am using mine in an unheated mudroom and it is working wonderfully! I will never regret this purchase. It is full of stock-up items that I never had room for before! A money saver for sure!
