“I just got this freezer and have only one place for it. The instruction booklet says you need 7.9 inches on both sides for adequate ventilation. Don't you think a couple inches on each side would be enough if there is adequate space in back and over it?”

• The space my freezer is in has approx 4" on each side. I've also had the freezer for 1 month and have no frost yet. Like you, I have adequate space behind and above. Hoping for the best!! Good luck to you.
