• Try to long press the Home button to launch the Quick Access Menu and select Picture.

• Just hit the menu button. Scroll to the left then down to the setting you want.

• It took us a while to get the remote to work correctly. Download the Firmware upgrade ASAP. The settings are much easier to find after that so you should be able to brighten it up. I'm surprised cause a lot of reviews think the factory settings are too bright when you start it up. If you can't get it brighter, you may have a defective model.
