A:Answer I'm confused about this as well. I plugged my Xbox one x into this tv, and it stated that my TV does not support hdr10, the open standard Microsoft went with. This tv supports Dolby HDR, which is closed source (open source means anyone can modify the code to their liking like Linux, and closed source means only the author can, like Windows). I boot up one day, and then my Xbox is singing a different tune. Now it says it supports HDR 10? I thought my TV had a software update while I wasn't using it, but the latest update I have is from 2019, so I have no idea honestly!
