“Hi there. we just recently bought the 50 pint dehumidifier and I'm trying to get more info on the comfort mode setting. what is the range of humidity where it's supposed to turn on and off when this setting is on. thanks”

I'd keep it at/around 50%. This way the air is not too humid or too dry, and mold will not have a chance to develop if you're putting it in the room that is below ground level (i.e "basement"). Plus keeping setting any lower (i.e. 30%) will keep it running constantly. Just my opinion.
