The loudest part of the dehumidifier is the fan. On the normal setting I would way the fan is comparable to both my oscillating fan and box fan on low. On the turbo setting it is definitely way louder and more comparable to my other fans on high. When the compressor is kicked on there is a slight hum of the compressor but it is barely noticeable in my opinion.
