• You can use this with any provider, I have a Tivo hooked up with TWC Cablecard and it works beautifully, the Roku is just an added feature, it is a regular tv. you can program it to work with your Uverse remote.

• You can use both. When you select your cable box you will be in AT&T universe and when you select apps you will be in Roku. -Eric

• Roku is the operating system for the TV. You can only get streaming channels from the Roku store directly on the TV without hooking up another external source. However, if you have an external video source box like a cable or satellite TV box, Apple TV, or other device that you can connect to one of the HDMI or video connections you can use it to stream channels from.
