Longevity of this tv: I've had one Insignia 42" for 8 years, working fine (Plasma). My wife has Insignia for 8 years, 32", but the built-in DVD failed in 3-4 years. We just sold our Utah Ski condo w/3 Insignias, 4 years old, all working. I would say, expect 10 years longevity if it survives the "infant mortality" past the first year. Refresh rate is 60 hz.
