• With normal volume the battery will last at the minimum 36 hours.

• I called Insignia customer service and I was told that it would take 3-4 hours for the battery to be fully charged. I just got my speaker today and I'm charging it now. We'll see.

• Forgot to add, I've never had to charge more then 8 hours. I'll plug it in at bedtime and its charged when i get up.
