• I think any single pole connect to phone or tablet for headphones.

• A lot of newer tvs have a jack for sound output. Normally, with nothing plugged into the jack the sound is sent to the tv speakers. If you plug a plug into the jack sound will no longer be applied to the tv speakers but will go to the headphone setup. so whoever is using the headset can hear the sound from the television but no one without a headset can hear it. you may need to get a technician to set up a special connection for you headset.

• I believe both tv allow for bluetooth connection. Can purchase any bluetooth speaker or headset for it to connect
