“Could I connect this from tablet to old receiver to stream Pandora? Have old/excellent Yamaha receiver. Planning on using tablet to stream Pandora. It would go from tablet headphone jack to RCA jacks of receiver. Are there any 'power' concerns or incompatability issues I'm not aware of?”

This is exactly what I bought this for and it works great. Be sure and keep the volume on your tablet turned relatively low and let the Yamaha amp handle the volume levels.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can, I use this cable for that purpose. I plug in my iPad or iPhone and stream my music via pandora or Amazon prime music. Note it does not charge phone but playing music does not use a lot of power. Cable does leave enough room to have power supply and audio jack to be connected at the same time.
