The Surface Laptop does not have a DisplayPort connection, but does have a MINI DisplayPort output, located between the USB port and the headphone jack port. If you want to output the visuals from your Surface Laptop to an external monitor, you can use a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable, or a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable, depending on what input connections are available on your monitor.
