Another possibility is the sensor dry function—if the moisture sensors inside the drum are dirty or malfunctioning, the dryer may not detect dryness accurately and continue running longer than necessary. Additionally, towels are dense and absorbent, so they naturally take longer to dry, especially if the dryer is overloaded. Using the wrong drying cycle, such as a low heat or eco mode, can also extend drying time. For towels, it's best to use a high heat setting like “Heavy Duty” or “Very Dry.” Lastly, ensure that the dryer is receiving the proper 240V electrical supply and that the ventilation system is efficient and unobstructed.
