The Insignia™ 6.7 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry requires a 240-volt outlet. This means you cannot plug it into a regular 120-volt household outlet. You'll need a dedicated 240-volt outlet, which is typically used for large appliances like dryers and ovens. If you don't already have a 240-volt outlet, you might need to have one installed by a licensed electrician. This ensures the dryer operates safely and efficiently.
