You must check your computer to see if it have a digital optical plug in first cause most don't. If it do then yes this is the best.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Really it all depends on your W7 PC capabilities. My Computer does have an optical out, and my audio system does support optical in, which I did use an optical cable without issue. If you have an optical out on your W7 PC and your soundbar, or A/V system powering your speakers, has an optical in than this would work for your setup. You might also have other audio out options on your PC as well as other audio in on your sounds system. But this would work if both support optical.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as your pc's sound card or on-board audio (integrated with your motherboard) has an optical audio output and your sound bar has an optical input this will work just fine. For a Bluetooth connection this would serve no purpose. If the length of your current cable is the issue, make sure 6ft is long enough. They have longer optical cables and some best buy stores sell it by the foot and packs of male ends.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you hook up this cable from your TV to a Receiver/Surround Sound System; and, you hook up a DVD player, XBox, etc.. you will be able to hear the sound through your Receiver/Surround Sound System. It will be better with HDMI.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you're homing it up through Bluetooth then you don't need a cable. This cable will work with your pc if your pc has a digital out port.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, this is the correct cable. My husband used this cable to connect a sound bar to my W7 PC.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Optical --- fiber optics Special plug. You probably have composite (RCA s) plug on sound bar. Your pc is jack plug / sound card depending. Is your sound card in pc Bluetooth?
