“I have a Samsung sound bar HW-T400 trying too hook up to a Samsung series 6 tv . Sound bar says I need An optical audio cord too hook up since this tv does not have blue tooth. Will this cord work for me ?”

Yes this is the right item for your soundbar as it I also a better way to get a richer sound then Bluetooth or RCA/AUX

Yes I believe it will. You might have to also change some settings In your television as well. It is an easy setup process.
