A:AnswerI have a Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown and this works with it. So I would expect it to work with yours. Look at the small end and see if it looks like your input. Other than I-Phone, most of these work with the "normal" phones.
A:AnswerI'm not familiar with the surface pro, but if your phone takes the small end and your surface pro has the USB port side, my experience is that you will be able to connect and transfer info between the 2.
A:AnswerNot unless you turn the car on first. This cable is supposed to be a USB 3.0 synch cable, but it is not. That is why I returned it to BB. Now, you'll have an opportunity to purchase it for yourself and have the BB Rep hand you a line of baloney, too. Good luck!
A:AnswerSorry. My answer posted before I was ready. As I was saying if your software will work and your port IS a micro USB. To be sure, take the camera to a phone store if closer than your Best Buy, and they should have a cable under their desk. If it goes into the port, it is correct.
Depending on the speed of the equipment, it may take a while to transfer your videos if shot at highest quality. I'm also wondering if the camera uses rechargeable batteries.. If so it should've come with this cable to charge it.
There IS a possibility of your book for the camera that should show a diagram naming parts of the camera. If it has this, it should tell you if it's a micro USB.
Have fun
