Accidentally it did shred one stack of three papers with a staple but I didn’t see it otherwise I would of taken the stapler off but I haven’t tried or shredded a paper clip I don’t know how the motor will handle multiple paper clips or staples it works slow after three repetitive shreddings one after the other so I assume it’ll make the motor over work itself more.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For safety reasons, my recommendation is that you remove all staples prior to shredding reams or single sheets of paper. I have personally jammed my shredder by not having removed staples prior to shredding.
