It will work if the 3.5mm jack is an input. But, if the jack is labeled as a headphone jack that means the sound is coming out, so it’s an output. If I’m looking at the right model, it looks like the only input on the Soundbar is an optical port. If this is the case you may need to loop the CD player through your TV if your tv has both RCA jacks in and an optical out. Or I believe they make RCA to optical converter boxes.

Please try again later.I bought this for my son to use as an adapter from his phone (3.5mm) to the back of a car stereo that did not have an aux outlet, but does have the RCA r/w connection.
