“In the description it says garage ready but you say not recommended”

Usually not recommended for garage use because the manufacturer does not know where it is going. If it is in Miami it may be too hot, if it is in International Falls, it may be too cold. I would check with a local electrician to get their opinion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It’s in my garage and doing fine! I love the blue “Running” light which is visible from the front on the unit. I passively check it when i traverse through the garage daily. As far as performance, it’s Fall/Winter in Houston, TX so not much of a test but everything is frozen rock solid. The real test will be Summer, but so far we are perfectly happy. Good value for money, especially on sail.
