I bought one in December as well. The same thing just happened to me plus there's water on the rim. I called for service (manufacturer and Geek Square) and was told I'm supposed to bring it in - it weighs over 60 lbs. I know this isn't an answer but you're not the only one. It must be a manufacturing defect. If I find a solution, will post and I hope you do the same.
