Thank you for your inquiry! If your Insignia™ 7 Cu. Ft. Garage Ready Upright Convertible Freezer is being used in refrigerator mode and you're noticing water dripping onto the top shelf, even though the unit is level and the door seal is intact, the issue is likely related to internal condensation. This can happen when warm air enters during door openings and condenses on cold surfaces, especially if the cooling is uneven. Adjusting the temperature may not help if the airflow inside is obstructed or if the fridge is set too cold. Make sure items aren’t blocking the air vents and that shelves allow proper circulation. Also, check the drain hole—if it’s clogged, water can’t drain properly and may pool or drip. Since this model uses manual defrosting, frost buildup on the coils could also be melting irregularly. Try defrosting the unit fully, cleaning it, and restarting. Even if the door seal looks fine, test it with a sheet of paper to ensure it’s sealing tightly. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it might be a faulty sensor or thermostat, and contacting Insignia support or a technician may be necessary. Keith | Insignia Support
