A:AnswerIt is what it is just try not to have anything behind it that could cause damage and keep it about 3" from the wall or any object behind it so the compressor would have enough space so air can move efficiently around the back side.
A:AnswerYou should have Best Buy check it out. I purchased mine and it was put on its back for the hour trip back to my home. After letting it sit upright for 72 hours, I then plugged it in and it was cold within 6 hours. There is something wrong with yours and mine is set at the middle temperature.

We were able to grab one about a month ago because we checked online when one happened to be available. Be ready to grab it fast though. We are looking for a freezer (any kind for <$500) for another family member. I saw one come available, but by the time I texted her and received a reply, it was gone. I have not seen this particular freezer come available again in my area since we bought it. I have been looking at least once every day for any freezer <$500.

You need to get up very early get on line and look.. someone told me to do that .. and about 5 AM it worked one morning And I got 1.. but 4 days till pickup .. pick up not at store by me , but one 10 miles away

A:AnswerI just plugged it into the normal outlet that I have in my garage -- regular household current -- no special outlet required. But it must be a dedicated outlet with nothing else plugged into the same outlet. And do not use an extension cord, it must be plugged directly into the outlet. It might require an electrician to install an outlet close enough for you to plug it in.
