- Answer It depends on whether the body is warm or cold when placed in the freezer. Draining fluids prior to the freezing process would speed things up a wee bit...you should expect at least 12 hrs for a proper process.

- Answer Hi Debbie, No. Place it on a piece of plywood so that the ventilation will work. It has to have space between the bottom and the surface it sits on. Placing directly on carpet will cause the motor to over heat. - Answer It is ready to use when taken out of the box. I picked mine up in a small SUV by myself and put it into place in my garage. I’m 60 years old, it’s not heavy. If you’re having it delivered, they will put it where you ask them to.

- Answer I just let mine sit for 24 hours, just in case it was tilted on it's side when it was delivered. (It wasn't, but I did it anyway, which was recommended if it was laid on its side if you brought it home in a SUV) I then just plugged it in and it was down to 0 within 3 hours. I love my new freezer.

- Answer Only one of the shelves is adjustable - and that by only about an inch or so. That said, I think the answer to your fit question is yes - you might have to remove one of the shelves to create enough vertical space but it should fit

QuestionWhy so noisy? This is pretty noisy freezer. It keeps pumping and pumping non-stop. I did let it sit for 30 hours before plug in as recommended.

QuestionDoes Insignia make a basket that can be hung on the lower set of shelf slots for the adjustable shelf? Or just the right size to fill one of the openings to maximize use of the space? Frozen ground beef can be difficult to store in an upright. Thanks!
