“I purchased this adapter for my 2020 MacBook Pro, however the SD Card reader does not seem to be working, when I put my Sandisk SD card in the slot and plug the adapter in to my MacBook nothing shows up. Does this adapter support all SD cards?”

I had intermittent problems with the SD card reader as well and could not find a driver update page from Insignia or other support beyond opening a service ticket. I ended up returning this and got a simple 4-port USB to USB-C hub that I could plug an SD card reader into as well as an HDMI dongle. It's not the clean/single device set-up you may be looking for but the components worked better on my laptop.
