  • QuestionIs this TV compatible with attena hook up

    Asked by Lee.

    • Answer It has the ports on the back so I assume so. I use DirecTV so on the air not a priority because of that, plus it's a smart TV so includes free apps to use your home broadband. And it works even though I don't use cable or fiber. I have a slower $50 a month rooftop dish that points at the tower in the nearest High School. Rincon Wireless here in Vail AZ. Didn't need to upgrade my bandwidth. Recommend using a wired connection to the broadband router because with all the other WIFI connected gear it's a cluttered spectrum.

  • Questioncan you download the spectrum TV app with this Insignia TV.

    Asked by Passdotcom.

    • Answer Simply look at your available apps wherever you get them on a normal basis. If it's not there I would just install a real streaming device like a Roku Ultra. You will never change from there and transfer the Roku to any new TV you might purchase. It's a Complete Streaming World of it's own using a Roku. Anyone with a serious number of channels they stream Roku is usually the answer. 100's of compatible apps available from Roku. No contest! And the picture of any older TV's is usually upscaled to 1080. My old Panasonic Plasma 43" Looks Insane at the 1080 resolution on a Plasma TV. Originally a 720 p. A 20 something year old Panasonic still compatible! WiFi runs and looks as Good as an Ethernet connection. GrandNationalMike

  • QuestionIs this tv considered the omni series for fire tv? I'm looking for zoom on the tv

    Asked by Bear.

    • Answer Hi there. The Insignia™ 70" Class F50 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV is not part of the Omni Series. The Omni Series is a different line of Fire TVs that typically includes more advanced features like hands-free Alexa control and a more integrated smart home experience. Regarding the Zoom app, the Insignia F50 Series does not natively support the Zoom app. However, you can use a workaround by mirroring your device's screen to the TV using the built-in screen mirroring feature. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask. Ivy | Insignia Support

  • QuestionHow is the sound quality? Any special sound related features ?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Integrated well with my Onkyo 2 Zone Receiver but sorry, I didn't even try the built-in sound. Assume it's Tinny, but I have been spoiled with an existing whole room sound system. I'd recommend to anyone who doesn't already have this Receiver, to use a sound bar and subwoofer because of physics of sound.

  • Questioncan I use my insignia firetv like a computer to access the internet?

    Asked by Josia.

    • Answer I use Amazon's Silk Browser which can be downloaded to the FireTV to access the internet. The standard FireTV remote works for navigating the internet if you are an occasional user. I will use my Xbox game controller as well as an Insignia basic keyboard for ease of typing and navigation from the comfort of my couch.
