• I haven't found that this flashlight will do that. The buttons seem to be designed to limit unintentional usage.

• Yes button is definitely either on or off. There is no momentary function for the button.

• You hold the buttom for a few seconds to turn and it's the same process to turn off. Hope that makes sense.

• There are two buttons, bottom is to turn on. Fully press the button once and the light will turn on/off. The other button (top one) is to increase intensity of the light. Hold that button for strobe effect.
