• welcome to my world. it is a piece of junk. take it back and get a refund. I have had 6 of these so far with extended warranties and keep replacing them.. none are good

• Make sure the cords are pushed in all the way, I had the same problem my first time trying to use it as well.

• I would recommend bringing it and the receipt back to the place of purchase to pursue warranty options.
