• No, there is only one player. The other is just a monitor to display the movie on a second screen.

• No you cannot. Only 1 of the players has a DVD holder, the other TV just connects to the other DVD player with a connector. As far as I know, there are no packages that play separate movies, the 2 DVD players in 1 package are for the same movie, when you have 2 to 3 kids in the back seat and you want them to be able to see the DVD player instead of turning their heads to see the movie if you only have 1 player

• No, there is only one screen that takes the DVD to play and you use the cords to watch the same movie on the second screen.

• I read the reviews stating this particular player does not allow for you to watch 2 different movies. I have a set of dual portable DVD players that will allow you watch 2 different movies or the same movie. Each unit has it's own disk holder. Mine are not Insignia, so I don't know if Insignia makes one.
