• Yep, works for us! Connected it to an old small flat screen and both sound and picture works on each unit. Super easy!

• Yes, I have hooked it to a monitor; the movie and sound play on both. (I turned down the sound on the DVD player so it didn't sound like an echo.)

• Yes, the A/V Out jack does support both Audio and Video.

• I believe the only output is audio, for the headphones.

• A cable is already included that allows you to hook the portable dvd player up to a tv (or device that can use the red, yellow,white cord system). It will play on both screens, and functions just as well as a regular dvd player without a remote in this regard.
