how does this product connect to the HDTV? my new SHDTV has only one port to connect devices such as a VCR & WII. I have manually disconnected the cables to use one or the other but would rather not have to do that. I need an AV switcher that can connect with something similar to an HDMI cable (or is an HDMI cable)

Sorry no HDMI inputs, only red - white - yellow plug ins. Works well with "older" units with plugs not HDMI or any other type of inputs.

Buy the av selector switch. It gives you 3 device ports and you just slide the switch to what you want. Very simple and nice.

This switch box uses RCA cables. You need one for HDMI

This device allows you to connect multiple AV devices to one set of AV ports on the TV. This would allow you to connect a VCR and Wii to the TV, even if the TV only has one set of red/white/yellow connections. There is no HDMI connections on this device.
