“I am going to Tokyo Japan. The outlets there are 100v and 50hz. Can i use this for a curling iron that is 120v 60hz 120w? i know the volts wont be an issue. but is the output changed from 50hz to 60z?”

• No, the Insignia quick setup guide states that if the power outlet voltage (100V) is less than your device's voltage (120), then your device is not compatible and to not use this converter/adapter.
