The black and white means that for Decor purposes you could set it up and it's black on one side or if you turn it around it's white on the other. Has nothing to do with picture simply two sides of color on the antenna itself.

The picture is in color. Make sure you understand how many miles you want your antenna to pick up stations. I got the 50 mile radius and I get 26 channels.
