The closer to the window the better the reception. Mine is six feet away and I got over 30 over the air channels from any station I want within 80 miles. It does more than I need but I was very impressed with the range. I live next to Rocky Mountains and antennas often don’t work so well. Exceeded my expectations at a very reasonable price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I placed my antenna on top of a bookcase about 7.5 feet high and facing an exterior wall. It seems to work equally as well no matter the orientation. I was able to use the included coax. I think it would work the same with a 25 foot coax. I get about 85 channels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is not in window facing stations and it works great. It’s also a basement window so there is a house near us and it doesn’t block coverage
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can add extra coax. You have to test the functionality by trial and error. The antenna will ontain a signal IF the signal is present and available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be able to do that. It will still work the same
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not need to be in a window but does work much better when facing a window. You can get stations at least 10 miles away with a 25 ft coaxial cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Will most likely work better if you place by a window, but its reception is dependent on conditions, so hook it up where you want it and see how many channels you can draw in. If good enough then the answer is no, if not you can add some coaxial cable to extend it and then try it again. I am 30 miles away and receive 58 channels. I am facing away from the mountain with the repeater and have a brick home and trees all around. The antennae is inside and about 2 ft from the window and 6 ft high.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours not in window. Sitting in stand right behind the TV, about 12" from outside wall facing broadcasting stations in St Louis.
