- Answer Yes it does. Mine has lasted me for 6 months. It would have lasted longer but I gave it to my daughter and she has had it for Months also. This brand is all I buy from now on. Works better than the ones at the apple store

QuestionDoes this cord allow you to play music from your ipod?In other words, my head unit in my car has a USB input which enables me to play music through my ipod. I need a cord that has a USB end and headphone jack end so I can hook up my ipod to the auxiliary end and the USB end to my head unit. Will this cable let me do that?

- Answer Yes, this cable will absolutely do that. And, if your iPod is running low, it'll still charge while playing your music through your sound system.
