is this cable compatible with ipad model A1396 null

I purchased this cord for our Ipod touch. Our device is a few years old so I'm guessing that if your device was made around the same time as the Ipof touch this cord will be compatible.

Yes this cord will definitely work, I have the same ipad and I BROUGHT THIS CORD AND IM SO HAPPY I DID. IT CHARGES FAST AND EASY TO TRAVEL WITH (MEANING) THE CORD ISNT EXTREMELY LONG
