You need to make sure you shut down the quest. If you take it off the screens will turn off after a few seconds but the quest is still on. While your wearing the headset hold the power button until it beeps and a shutdown window pops up. Shut it down and it won't lose the charge. Also if you plan on storing it without use for more than a couple weeks you should make sure it's at about 40% charge. It will help the battery last longer.
