• Yes. Mine hooked in just fine. Only catch is that you need to manually select it from your laptop and tell it to connect. But yes, works great with several LG headsets I have tried.

• Yes, but I would check your laptop. Most laptops have bluetooth capability built in to them, which means you would not need this device.
